The touristic activity

Since 1988, the SGLM pull cars only for the delight of numerous tourists. Traffic is scheduled from May to October. Nevertheless, specials can be order year long.

A colored timetable is provided to the customers to help good organisation of a day out at La Mure. Up to 4 round trips are scheduled daily. The journey upwards takes 1h45. The downwards run takes1h30.

The trains stops at many places, on the mainline outside regular stations, to allow passengers to witness the most beautiful sceneries the line crosses.

At the maximum speed of 30 km/h, the SGLM presents, at the turn of the century, an astounding réumé of 110 years of railroad history.
