There are now two categories of international trains. The different categories are described below:
High-Speed Trains
The international services between Amsterdam and Paris (France), and between
Amsterdam and Frankfurt (Germany) are operated by dedicated high-speed
trainsets. These services run approx. every two hours from early morning up to
the beginning of the evening.
Regular Day Services
The hourly service between Amsterdam and Brussel (Brussels, Belgium) is operated
by NSH coaches and a Belgian locomotive in push-pull mode. The 4-times-a-day
service from Amsterdam to Berlin (Germany) consists of German InterCity coaches,
on the Dutch part hauled by an NS-Reizigers electric locomotive.
