ÖBB sleeping-car WLABmz 61 81 71-71 463-6. This car is also known as type WLAB33s, it was rebuilt from a T2S car with 17 compartments and now has 11 larger compartments, by converting three compartments into two and closing one of three windows.

ÖBB sleeping-car WLABmz 61 81 71-71 463-6. From the corridor side, it still looks mostly like a T2S car, painted in the current ÖBB livery for sleeping-cars: light grey with dark blue window band and yellow stripe.

This is a type WLAB33s, one of the two T2S-rebuilding types in Austria, followed by a WLAB32s, also rebuilt from T2S - from this side easily distinguished by the window arrangement. Final countdown to TGV Est, deadline: 09/06/2007!!!

Refurbished sleeping-car of ÖBB (WLABmz-75-71, ex-T2S), seen in the consist of EN 263 "Orient-Express" (Paris Est ---> Wien Westbf).

At that stage, the Class 15000 on duty since Paris-Est had already left, while the Class 181.2 which was to haul this formation until Stuttgart Hbf, had not yet come.

Once TGV Est is there, this 124-year old service will be replaced with some Strasburg-Vienna through-cars, joining a CNL service in Southwest Germany.

Sleeping-car WLAm 61 85 75-70 452-2 in the EN 247 "Austria.com". This is an ex-SBB CFF FFS car which kept its original number, but has recently been sold to the ÖBB. The SBB CFF logos were erased and a small ÖBB inscription added instead. Bregenz, 2003-03-06.
