More than four decades are between these two coaches in the EN 324 "Donauwalzer" Wien - Brussels: Left is a couchette car 73 81 59-91, built 2001 by Siemens SGP and Bombardier Dunakeszi, airtight and with pneumatic suspension, right is a sleeping car 61 81 70-70, built 1955 by Ansaldo and Carel-Fouché as CIWL type P and completely refurbished 1992 by Wagons-Lits Oostende. The stainless steel carbody after a Budd patent was unusual and expensive in its time, but you see the advantage - it lasts forever ....
