A-ÖBB Salon z 61 81 89-70 001-5. This car was built in 1970 as the "K" car, an experimental high-comfort car with four 3-seat and two big 6-seat compartments. It was painted light blue and used in the express train "Mozart" until 1986. Between 1989 and 1994 it was rebuilt into a salon car with sleeping compartments, bathroom, kitchen and conference room. After some years in umbra grey, red and white, it was repainted again into the "ErlebnisBahn" livery in ivory and sapphire blue with white aluminium roof and golden yellow lines. ÖBB 51 81 89-80 010-6 "Salon 10". Built 1966 at Simmering works as Presidential car, originally painted green. In 1979 it was repainted orange (Eurofima livery) and received SGP VS RIC bogies for 160 km/h. In 1990 it was repainted umbra grey, red and white. In 1996 it received its current livery for ÖBB ErlebnisBahn and the interior was changed to accomodate larger groups. In addition to the salon (originally with a conference table with six chairs and a group of four armchairs, since 1996 with 24 chairs at eight tables), it has five sleeping compartments, bathroom, kitchen and toilet.
