Railbus 5081.564-6 of the Erzbergbahn (museum line). The station "Erzberg" used to be the place to load iron ore on the trains that brought it over the former rack line. It was a passenger station too, even though there is no exit onto public roads/trails, only to the internal road system of the ore mine. Erzberg, 2009-05-17.

Railbus 5081.564-6 of the Erzbergbahn (museum line). As trees have fallen on the section between Erzberg and Eisenerz, this is currently the end station of the museum line. In the weeks ahead the Erzbergbahn society plans to clear the line with volunteer workers. Erzberg, 2009-05-17.

Railbus 5081.564-6 of the Erzbergbahn (museum line). Compared with DB railbuses you can notice an air intake in one of the windows, with a "black box" behind - what is this for? Präbichl, 2009-05-17.

MTM401_Vr1.jpg (158703 bytes)

Swietelsky tamper, based on a Massey-Ferguson tractor, Plasser & Theurer 1991/144, type MTM 401. As the Erzbergbahn museum line can currently only be used between Vordernberg Süd and Erzberg, such a two-way vehicle is the easiest way .... Vordernberg Markt, 2009-05-17.

Swietelsky tamper, based on a Massey-Ferguson tractor, Plasser & Theurer 1991/144, type MTM 401. It looks like it could just lift up all the front and rear equipment and drive on a road. Vordernberg Markt, 2009-05-17.
