The locomotive (named "Land Salzburg") was built 2007 by Gmeinder Lokomotivenfabrik GmbH, a sister locomotive was built 2009. The narrow gauge line Zell am See - Krimml went from the ÖBB to the Salzburger Lokalbahn in 2008, due to flood damage it is currently only operated to Mittersill, but it is planned to repair the whole line until september 2010. |
