Baustelle der neuen Unterführung und Tramhaltestelle am Grazer Hauptbahnhof. Mitglieder des Vereins Fahrgast Steiermark hatten die Gelegenheit zu einer Vor-Ort-Anleitung der Baustelle. Während der Erdarbeiten wurde ein Blindgänger aus dem zweiten Weltkrieg entdeckt, der nicht entschärft werden konnte. Die Bombe musste gesprengt werden, wobei zwei alte Bäume und zahlreiche Fenster zerstört wurden. Hier die neue Rampe von der Annenstraße zur Unterführung. Die Linien 1 und 7 nutzen provisorische Gleise auf beiden Seiten. Die Vielfalt der Fahrzeuge ist ebenso zu sehen. Die Gleise sind bereits auf Beton verlegt, darauf kommt noch eine Asphaltschicht, die es auch erlaubt, die Unterführung mit Schienenersatzbussen zu nutzen. Members of the society "Fahrgast Steiermark" were given the opportunity to visit the building site. During the construction works an unexploded bomb from the second world war was found. It could not be defused so it had to be blown up. This destroyed two old trees and many windows of the surrounding buildings. The new ramp from Annenstraße to the underpass; the existing lines 1 and 7 use temporary tracks to both sides. Here you can also nicely see the variety of tram types currently used on these lines. The tracks are already laid on concrete roadbed, an asphalt cover will be added which allows rail replacement buses to use the underpass as well.
