Tramcar No. 244 from Wien, reconstructed using trailer d2 5110 and a chassis
from Graz from 1998 to 2001 according to a "D" type tram from 1901,
during the parade of 130 years Graz trams in
Herrengasse, 2008-06-08.

Bau- und Betriebsgesellschaft für städtische Straßenbahnen
in Wien type D no. 244 (Graz 1901). In service until 1924 (rebuilt to a
trailer d2 5110). Length 8.3 m, weight 9 t, power 42 kW. This type was derived from the old type C, with a slightly shorter body. The museum tram is actually a reconstruction of 2001, using the body of the trailer d2 5110 and the chassis of a tram from Graz. Wiener Straßenbahnmuseum, 2011-06-26. |
