Salzburg received its first 15 Solaris Trollino 18 trolleybuses in 2009 (No. 301 to 315). Four more (No. 316 to 320) were bought second hand from La-Chaux-de-Fonds (Switzerland). In 2012 the latest batch of ten (No. 321 to 330) followed in "MetroStyle" design with a more sloped front and matching roof styling; in this variant the front entrance door is only half width.
