Following the work on the new HST-tracks, the NMBS have bought additional 
locomotives from The Netherlands. These engines are now classified as 
class 76 and were the former NS class 2200. The accompanying picture 
shows 7617 along with other members of the class, at the HST-base at St. 
Druon during May 1996. Locomotive 7617 was the only engine to have the 
NMBS green and yellow livery applied.
