SNCB 7852 speeds through Antwerpen-Noorderdokken on 29 August 2013. A year from now on, the route through the city of Antwerp will be abolished in favour of a curvature north of Antwerp, that will link Antwerpen Noord yard directly to the left Schelde bank. This will take away all the freights to/from France and/or Brugge and Zeebrugge, so anyone, willing to photograph French traction in Antwerpen Noorderdokken, Luchtbal or Berchem are advised to make plans for a visit now.
