Benelux service Amsterdam-Bruxelles. During 1986, many of the old driving trailers encountered so many technical problems that they had to be replaced by locomotives, to keep the push-pull configuration.
This picture shows an old series 25.5 E-loc with an Eurofima car at the rear of the train. The train is pulled by another 25.5. In April 1987 new stock was introduced and replaced the old push-pull and EMU ('Hondekoppen') material.
