2811 passes Eschweiler Hbf (on Cologne-Aachen) with a westbound train
loaded with pipes on 22 July 2009, while an eastbound LPG train is waiting for
departure in the background. Due to construction works only one track was
available on the section to Langerwehe. As the capacity was urgently needed for
freight traffic after the line Aachen-Mönchengladbach had been blocked by
a damage caused by a thunderstorm, regional express services were totally
canceled on this section for several hours. A double decker train waiting for
the return to Aachen can be seen waiting on the right.
