Mivel rendes metrón nem lehet szintbeni keresztezés, így Mérode állomáson a befelé és a kifelé irány peronjai egymás fölött vannak, így két egyszerű Y-elágazással megoldhatták azt. Igen ám, de a lenti peronra egy mozgólépcsős-gyaloglós szerpentinen kb. öt perc alatt lehet lejutni!

As there can't be level crossing between tracks on metro lines, they placed the inbound and outbound platforms at this branching station vertically, one above the other. The only problem is that you can only access the lower platform through a serpentine of walking corridors and escalators with about 5 minutes extra time.
