The stop at Hergenrath on the line Aachen-Liège seen from the southern end (looking towards Aachen) on 11 May 2008. It is in service since December 2007. The rhombical signs in the background indicate the border between the Belgian and the German network, although the national border of Germany is some hundred metres further. The first German signals, two distant signals of the Ks system, can also be seen. As the left track is currently out of service due to construction works, the signal next to it is marked as invalid by a whith cross. Several Eurobalises of the European Train Control System (ETCS) are visible between the rails.
