On 5, 6 and 7 July 2006 NMBS-SNCB organised special trips with steam locomotive 29.013, on which new drivers were trained and to keep the locomotive in a good condition after its restoration in 2003 at the DB Meiningen workshops.Starting and end point was Vilvoorde station, passing by Leuven where one could visit the railroadmuseum, which can not be visited during normal service.

Detail on the inscriptions of tender 25.217, coupled to NMBS-SNCB steam locomotive 29.013.The HL and HT inscriptions are the weights of the locomotive and tender respectively, the tender can take up to 27000 l (27 m³) of water and 8 tons of coal.Brakes are of the Oerlikon type, which only have a P (Passenger) mode, and have a brake weight of 100t.The maximum speed of the locomotive is 80 km/h, and the length of both tender and locomotive is 20.39 m.
