ON RAILS AGAIN: In 2006 two locomotives of class 42.100 underwent repairs and were restored to regular service after being idle for some years in the depot of Ruse. It was a welcome return to life for these veteran machines as they took on hauling freight trains and ocassionally stopping services in the areas of Sofia, Dupnitsa and Dragoman. On the photo locomotive 42 141 proceeds to the station of Voluyak with a freight train from Pernik to Sofia. 20 March 2007
