28 October 2006 was a day when the locomotives from the depot of Mezdra had a strong presence on the line Sofia - Kulata with locomotive 45 179 on fast train 5621 (Sofia - Kulata) in the morning, unit 45 178 on freight and stopping passenger services along the line Dupnitsa - Bobov Dol and finally this locomotive (43 543) on fast train 5611 from Sofia to Kulata.
