On 22 September 2005 locomotive 43 556.0 of the depot in Varna was spotted at the head of fast train 3661 Burgas-Kaspichan which consists entirely of direct cars for Ruse. At Kaspichan they are attached to another fast train which takes them to their final destination. The two coffee cups on the front of the locomotive provide some much needed stimulation to the engine drivers for their four-hour-long trip through the Stara Planina mountain.
