INTO THE ABYSS: The seventh tunnel on the line Sofia - Karlovo is named Koznitsa. It is almost 6 kilometres long, starts right at the exit of the station of Koprivshtitsa and ends just before the station of Stryama. Along its entire length the tunnel is straight and at Koprivshtitsa you can see the lights of the locomotive a long way into this black hole. On this photo locomotive 45 149.2 enters the tunnel with a stopping train from Koprivshtitsa to Karlovo. 30 October 2005
