The village of Zimnitsa is the point where the two lines from Burgas to Sofia (through Karlovo and Plovdiv) split. If you go to the east of the village where the lines are still running together you have a fair chance to come across some of the longest and heaviest freight trains in Bulgaria coming from the ports of Burgas and Varna. A good example is the train in this photo.
