Many years ago , there was existed a narrow - gauge line from Pazardjik to Varvara , who was a part from the line Septemvri - Dobrinishte.In 2002 year , the passenger conveyance were stopped and this line was closed.After few years , the tracks was been took out and only dilapidated and ransacked buildings of railway stops lonely reminded for former motion on these places. In this photo , taken on June , 1998 year , I `ll remind what represent the human silliness and dexterity to close the unique and nonpareil lines.You can see a local train arriving to Septemvri from Pazardjik via Varvara.Thanks to everyone , who bent down a head in the memory of this former wonderful line!

To replace steam traction on the narrow gauge BDZ ordered 10 diesel-hydraulic locos from Henschel in Germany. They are based on a meter gauge version built for Spain, Thailand and Togo. The fleet entered service in 1975 between Septemvri and Dubriniste. Loco 75.002-6 stops at Tscherna Mesta on the 2nd of july 1996.
