This monument is in memory of the victims of a terrible act of terrorism by an explosion on a train at the nearby station near the tunnel.About thàt- "Bunovo attack" near the station is the biggest railway attack in Bulgarian history in number of victims. Is performed on 9 March 1985 by a bomb planted in the passenger coach for mothers with children on the train Burgas - Karlovo - Sofia.The attack was made by members of an illegal organization called the Turkish national liberation movement in Bulgaria, although it was founded a few months later.
