À monument on railway station Bunovo. This monument is in memory of the victims of a terrible act of terrorism by an explosion on a train at the nearby station near the tunnel.About thàt- "Bunovo attack" near the station is the biggest railway attack in Bulgarian history in number of victims. Is performed on 9 March 1985 by a bomb planted in the passenger coach for mothers with children on the train Burgas - Karlovo - Sofia.The attack was made by members of an illegal organization called the Turkish national liberation movement in Bulgaria, although it was founded a few months later. The reason the actions of government at that time, which are grouped under the term "Revival Process".The bomb was placed in a wagon for mothers with children of train ¹ 326, which runs from Burgas to Sofia. The bomb has a timer, and time is designed to coincide with the arrival of the train in the tunnel near the station Bunovo. They panic and lack of air would lead to the largest possible number of casualties.
Due to maneuver the train station Zlatitsa delayed by two minutes and blast erupted at 21:31 am at the station, not the tunnel.

In bombing killed seven people - three children and four women. In other sources victims were 2 children, 2 women, 1 man and 2 persons old. Among the victims were deaf and dumb children in retractable home. Severely injured 9 people and one of them also has two children.
In the 1990s, years of building the station was opened Bunovo memorial. On 11th September 2007, near the train station, found a monument to the victims of the bombing , taht you can see on this photo. The monument is a monumental sculpture, seven meters high.
