BDZ steam locomotive class 01.23 in depot Sofia , 27.03.2010 , he is manufactured in locomotive factory SLM Winterthur-Switzerland in 1935 ,
he work to 1973 year and then was left by a locomotive cold reserve base Asenovo ,
was restored as museum operating steam locomotive in 1988 year in depot Sofia.

2007 was the second year in a row in which BDZ organised a steam train tour for Children's Day (1 June). The seats were reserved for school students. The locomotive was 01.23 and the train went around Sofia starting and finishing the trip at the Central Station and passing through the stations of Kazichene, Yana and Iliyantsi in the suburbs of Sofia.
