Kurilo. Three-cylinder 4-6-2, 05.01 paused for a “service stop” on the double-track main line to Pleven. Five of the type were delivered by Krupp in 1941 and were renowned as being the "fastest" steam locomotives on BDZ, with a rated maximum of 120kph. On the special train, 110kph was attained, and maintained, on several occasions. 2 October 2016
