Sofia_Locomotive_Depot_7. 0-8-2T, 48.04. This engine is from a class of six, the first three being built in 1930 by Hanomag, for the Pernik coal mine. Purchased in 1931, three more (48.04 – 48.06) were built in 1949, by BDZ. Thus, 48.04 is today, the only remaining steam locomotive built in Bulgaria. 7 October 2016 Roger Griffiths. roger.griffiths@hotmail.com
