Sofia_stop_bulPraga__1.jpg (139480 bytes)

Sofia stop "bul. Praga". March 2024.
View of bul. General Skobelev in direction NDK. Here is an important trolleybus stop (the buses will go from here in the NDK tunnel) and a narrow gauge tramp stop (lines 1, 6, 7, 27). The stop can be very busy, together with quite dense trafic on the roads. Note also the person lying on the ground at the trafic light -- there was a big affair after this picture was taken -- the police investigated this man and caused big trafic problems...

Sofia stop "bul. Praga". March 2024.
View of the "five star" crossing (bul. General Skobelev, bul. Hristo Botev, bul. Praga, bul. Patriarch Evtimiy). A tram 34xx is leaving on bul. Hristo Botev. Note the complicated overhead wire arrangement -- the tram (bul. Hristo Botev to stop "bul. Praga" on bul. General Skobelev) crosses the trolley bus wires (straight on bul. General Skobelev, turn from bul. Praga to bul. General Skobelev, and turns from bul. Patriarch Evtimiy to bul. General Skobelev as well to bul. Praga).
