This is the prototype for rebuilt EuroCity cars. The interior fabrics are changed
to match the EW IV rebuilding programme. Electric plugs for every double seat are
new; the wheelchair toilet is rebuilt to a bioreactor and the other toilet removed
to make space for bicycle transport. Technically the cars are enabled for
push-pull trains; in the future it is planned to use them in Swiss inland trains
as well as internationally.
