Interior of an IC2000 Restaurant/Bistro-car.
This is the upper deck, which now accommodates a large dining-room (with a small counter), very similar to that of ICN sets.
Originally, this was a standard 2nd-class area, while catering was confined to a cramped Galley/Bistro area on the lower deck, where only a very limited offer was available.
Following repeated complaints, the upper-deck was rebuilt in 2002/2003, so as to offer full-fledged restaurant accommodation, in addition to the previous Bistro service.
