A very unique view:
RIC Restaurant-car (WRm 61 85 88-70 000) of SBB-CFF-FFS, seen in the consist of IC 394 "Iris" (Zürich Hbf--->Bruxelles Midi/Brussel Zuid).
This car had originally been built as a standard RIC (UIC-X) car in the mid-60s. But in 1972, it was upgraded to full TEE standards (with the requisite Red-Cream livery), so as to run (as RAm replacement) on TEE 66-67 "Bavaria" (Zürich Hbf <--> München Hbf).
After the "Bavaria" had been downgraded to a dual-class IC service (21st May 1977), this car ran on other international services, retaining its TEE condition at a first stage. In the mid-80s, it was eventually rebuilt to its original RIC standards, yet with C1 livery this time.
Apart than some TEE Inox 70, this is the only TEE loco-hauled car which SBB-CFF-FFS has ever operated.
