SBB electric locomotive at Lindau DB station

Lindau station in Germany. An EC train from Zürich to Munich is changing direction here. Since the line from Lindau to Geltendorf including Memmingen and Buchloe is not electified, it is necessary to have diesel locomotives pull the cars. For instance, in Germany the DB 218 series diesel locomotives are used.
