2005 decemberében az SBB egyik, két áramrendszerűvé átalakított FLIRT típusú motorvonata Magyarországra látogatott. A MÁV 30 darabot kíván vásárolni a típusból a közeljövőben, további 30 darabra opciót adott. Százhalombatta állomáson, mellette tehervonatával V63 007. In December, 2005 number 521 011-7 (FLIRT) of the SBB came to Hungary on a promotion tour, and visited the stations on the lines where MÁV plans to use them.
