The organising society "Team 10439 historische Loks Olten" showed many of their preserved locomotives and motor cars.
Motor car RAe2/4 1001 "Roter Pfeil" was built in 1935 for feeder services into main line trains. This was so succesful that the trains were soon too small and had to be replaced by locomotive-hauled trains. From then the motor cars were mainly used for excursions. Modernised motor car 1001 is based in Olten since 2014.
