Chur station is a jointly operated station used by the SBB/CFF & Rhätische Bahn. The RhB trains to Arosa depart from this platform outside the main station building. Photographed on Friday May 16th, 2003.

This is the Italian and Rhaeto-Rumantsch explanation of ticket purchase and the possibility of a fine of 60 SFR for failure to produce a valid ticket if inspected.

Chur SBB station

This is Chur, cantonal capital of Graubünden (Grisons in French, Grisciuna in Italian), the transfer point between the SBB and the Rhätische Bahn / Viafier Retica. From here, Eurail passes are usually not valid, from Chur to Brig in Valais, which there is a Gletscherbahn which requires a special fare ticket.

Chur SBB station

This is Chur, cantonal capital of Graubünden (Grisons in French, Grisciuna in Italian), the transfer point between the SBB and the Rhätische Bahn / Viafier Retica. From here, Eurail passes are usually not valid, from Chur to Brig in Valais, which there is a Gletscherbahn which requires a special fare ticket.

These are the main tracks, as seen from the bus station which is a little bit south of the train station. The RhB meter gauge tracks are east of the station.

The bus-deck is situated above the railway tracks. The tracks at the left side are used by Die Rhatische Bahn, at the right side the tracks are used by SBB.
