A diesel work locomotive at FFS Station Mendrisio

At the SBB/FFS Station Mendrisio in the Swiss canton of Ticino, a series of postal busses for the Swiss Post can be seen. Normally the fares of SBB/CFF/FFS are not valid on the Postal busses. For a single journey to Fox-Town shopping outlet from the Mendrisio station, it costs CHF 2,60, and operates every 30 to 60 minutes. The ride takes less than ten minutes. Taken 4 August 2004
