The funicular of the Bergbahn Lauterbrunnen-Mürren seen from the train
station in Lauterbrunnen (note the catenary in the foreground) on 20 March
2002. It runs up to Grütschalp, where passengers have to change to a
narrow gauge train to Mürren. There is a special crane to exchange the
open freight container visible on the funicular with the one on the flatcar of
the train.
