Appenzeller Bahnen electric unit BDe 4/4 43 "Gonten", built
1986 by FFA, out of service and stripped of electric components. It will
be moved to Ateliers de Basse-Ham (France) for rebuilding to a generator
car. Totally 15 cars will be sold to the railway Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire)
to Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) after being equipped with air-conditioning,
they will be pulled by US-built diesel locomotives.
