A flatcar of the Wengernalpbahn is parked in Grund on 21 March 2002. At this end, which is allways facing downhill, it has to coupling systems. First there is a central buffer with a hook, used to couple with older trains and most other freight cars. An automatic coupler can be moved into position to couple the car to the new BDhe 4/8 EMUs. It seems that the buffer is tilted upwards in that case.
