One of the longest trains of the Wengernalpbahn, consisting of two BDhe 4/8
EMUs and a trailer, is climbing up from Wengen to Allmend on 18 March 2002.
Trains like this are only to be seen on the Lauterbrunnen side of the network,
they would not fit into the station at Grindelwald. The picture was taken from
a train waiting in the siding at Allmend.
