The station Kleine Scheidegg, meeting point of the Wengernalpbahn and the Jungfraubahn, seen from near the line to Jungfraujoch on 20 March 2002. The line to Grindelwald is not visible. On the left is the line to Lauterbrunnen. Next to it is a track of the Jungfraubahn, leading to the train shed below the station. Between the shed and the line to Jungfraujoch the stage for the Snowpenair Concert on 23 March is under construction. In the lower left corner of the picture the end of a backbone span is visible. The line is single-tracked, but it has a double catenary for the 3-phase electrification, so masts with tensioning assemblies are placed on both sides. Above the left part of the station the turning triangle, which is partially situated in a tunnel, is visible. Every train has an "upper" and a "lower" end, if it has to change from the Grindelwald side to the Lauterbrunnen side or vice versa, it has to be turned.
