Alpine Classic Glacier Express Gezogen von der HGe 4/4'' Oberalp nährt sich der Glaciert Express am 18.07.2008 dem Bahnhof von Brig. Eigentlich war eine historische HGe 4/4' vorgesehen. Aufgrund technischer Probleme musste jedoch auf den modernen Nachfolger zurückgegriffen werden.

Die Lokomotive musste vom Depot weg in Richtung Bahnhof gezogen werden, damit sie über die Weichen auf ein Seitengleis gebracht werden konnte.
