Poschiavo is the biggest city of the valley with the same name. It belongs still to Switzerland but Italy can be reached easier from here. Vehicle No. 55 is a DMU Class ABe4/4-II and called Diavolezza.

Class ABe 4/4 III EMU (No 55) of RhB, seen on R 1623 (St Moritz ---> Tirano), running as a standard regional service, where regular fares apply, while leaving Alp Grüm.
From Pontresina, it also runs with a formation of Panorama cars, running as D 951 "Bernina-Express" (Chur ---> Tirano), where a supplement and compulsory booking apply. Alp Grüm (2,091m). 19th August 2007.

Rhaetische Bahn, Bernina power car ABe 4/4 No. 55 `Diavolezza'
with a mixed passenger/freight train in Pontresina. This is
one of the newest series for the extremely steep Bernina line,
with 3-phase AC motors.
