zentralbahn electric luggage power unit De 110 001-5 with local train Interlaken Ost - Meiringen. Built 1941 as Fhe 4/6 with an additional cogwheel bogie in the middle, these units were the most important power of the Brünig line for decades. After being replaced on the mountain line by the HGe 101, they lost their cogwheel drive from 1987 to 1993 and were rebuilt for push/pull operation on the flatland sections. They are still needed for most trains Meiringen - Interlaken until the delivery of new EMUs in 2012/2013. Interlaken Ost, 2011-09-30.
zentralbahn electric luggage power unit De 110 002-3. For a locomotive they have a rather long space between both bogies - originally a third bogie was located in the middle, with a separate cogwheel drive. Interlaken Ost, 2011-09-30.
zentralbahn electric luggage power unit De 110 003-1. For the zb it has not been repainted, just decorated with decals - you can still see traces of the old "Br;uuml;nig" inscription under the logo. The unit has just brought the Golden Pass Panoramic Express from Luzern and will drive around the train to the other end. Interlaken Ost, 2011-09-30.
