zentralbahn A 214-0 in an InterRegio train from/to Luzern. The "zebra design" was introduced with SBB CFF FFS standard gauge panorama cars of 1991 which pioneered the curved windows. In 1994 two PA-90 panorama cars were taken into service by the SBB-Brünig with a similar design (but red above and below the window band), the modernized SIG EW I cars were painted in a matching livery. Meanwhile the panorama cars were changed to Golden Pass design (along with two matching trainsets), the rest of the IR rolling stock remains in zebra design, since the introduction of the zb 2005 the area below the windows became white (with this partial application of an adhesive a more expensive repaint could be avoided, even the inscriptions are still the old, found in a red "window").
