Originally the legroom was very limited, with the modernization two rows of seats were eliminated, so the seats don't match the windows any more. With their automatic couplers (including pneumatic connection for the compressed air brake), electric power cable and control cable for doors and push-pull trains, they look considerably less cluttered than mgb/RhB rolling stock.
