Originally the legroom was very limited, with the modernization two rows of seats were eliminated, so the seats don't match the windows any more. The cars are popular among passengers, but with the introduction of new EMUs, most will go out of service in 2013. Brünig-Hasliberg, 2011-09-30.

With their automatic couplers (including pneumatic connection for the compressed air brake), electric power cable and control cable for doors and push-pull trains, they look considerably less cluttered than mgb/RhB rolling stock. Note the red/white end of train signal, something that has been eliminated by a number of other narrow gauge lines but is still used on the zb. Interlaken Ost, 2011-09-30.

Some bicycle cars like this one only have regular doors, which make loading and unloading a big cumbersome. This is also one of very few red/white cars going over the pass.
