2007-12-27, 9:35: The CNL 352 "Orion" to Basel SBB rolls through Gundelfingen (Breisgau). It consists of the 101 102-2 "Wir Menschen sind alle gleich", followed by a section from Praha hl.n. (via Dresden and Fulda): two Bomz236, Bvcmz248.5 and Bvcmbz249.1 all in DBNachtZug livery and two new CD WLABmz. Next comes a section from København: double deck WLABm in CityNightLine blue, Bvcmbz249.1 in DBNachtZug livery and BDcm in CNL blue. Then a RZD WLABmee from Moskva (re-introduced on 2007-12-24). Normally a Bvcmbz from Warszawa should follow, it is missing today. At the end of the train we see a CNL WRm from Fulda, the only car painted in the new City Night Line livery, but still without full inscriptions. View on the rear end of the train rolling towards Freiburg. From this perspective the different roof profiles of the rolling stock become apparent: flat arch for seating, couchette and restaurant cars, high arch for the CD and RZD sleeping cars, and angular roof shape for the CNL doubledeck car. Behind the last car, the Ks type block signal has already switched to red. The two tracks on the right branch off towards Freiburg Gbf and are only used by freight trains.
