CSD T 669 0001 was the first of a monstruous big order for diesel locos in the Eastern Bloc since 1963. The loco entered service in Checho-Slovakia, Poland, Albania (where it is the only loco type with 57 in stock) and the Soviet-Union. The total number of this design exceeds eight thousand.
