E 499.005 on exhibition in Masarykovo's rail.station, Prague, 1995
100 engines of class E499.0 (now 140) were built by Skoda Plzen for former Czechoslovak state railways in mid of 50's. Although regular service of these beautiful locos was stopped, on certain places, these engines are still ready as reserve, and can be rarely seen on rails.
